Systems Safety Engineer
We are now looking for a Systems Safety Engineer that can help us take the next steps in ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory and safety-related requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Perform structured vehicle and systems-level safety risk analyses and report the results
- Identify safety critical functions and components
- Assist systems engineers in their design work to meet system safety requirements and demonstrate compliance
- Support the design team in selecting equipment
- Develop safety risk mitigation strategies together with systems engineers
- Stay up to date with relevant regulations in the industry
- Develop processes and best practices in the area of systems safety
- Initiate and drive appropriate plans and actions to implement safety-related processes and practices
Qualifications:
- University degree in aerospace engineering or other relevant engineering dicipline
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in systems safety work, preferably within the aerospace industry
- Experience with relevant safety-related regulations and standards, preferably within the aerospace industry
- Experience in the unmanned, autonomous vehicle or helicopter industry is an asset
- Important personal characteristics: Self-starter, team player, analytical mindset, with a clear, concise and to-the-point style of communication.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. German is an asset
